Test and Data Services' Information Manual

Compiled in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000

1. INTRODUCTION

This document is intended to assist people when requesting information from the company in terms of the Act. Should the requester require any assistance in using this manual, they are invited to contact the company's HR and Legal Director, Mr CJ Stebbing, who has been duly appointed by the head of Test and Data Services to act as the person to whom requests for access to information must be made in terms of the Act.

1.1. ABOUT THE COMPANY

Test and Data Services (Pty) Ltd is South Africa's leading specialist in testing computer software. The company provides training on software testing and quality, as well as staffing solutions such as the provision of permanent, contracting, and consulting staff.

To facilitate ease of use, this document has been set out in such a way that it follows the layout of section 51 of the Act.

Fees will be charged strictly in accordance with the provisions of the act, and regulations thereto, published in the government gazette. For more information on the fees please consult the following web sites www.sahrc.org.za and www.doj.gov.za. The guide provided by the South African Human Rights commission also provides a section setting out the relevant costs for the request for information.
