We are in urgent need of Junior Test Automation Specialists and Test Automation Specialists. See below for the job specification for the various positions.
Junior Test Automation Specialist
Candidates for this position need to have at least six months manual software testing experience as well as basic skills and experience in code design. They need to have the ability to automate testing effort from manual test cases and regression test suites. They must also be able to work in a team environment with manual and/or automation testing members as well as work independently under occasional supervision. It is important for candidates to understand and implement basic automation frameworks and scripting namely, Linear and Test Modularity Frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop basic automation frameworks and scripting.
- Maintain test automation scripts.
- Set up test automation environments under supervision.
- Test data preparation.
- Conduct automated tests and log defects.
- Adapt test cases for use in a test automation environment.
- Develop test procedures and test cases based upon system requirements.
Test Automation Specialist
Candidates for this position need to have a minimum two years experience in implementing test automated execution for at least one test automated execution tool with preferably a minimum of one year manual software testing experience. They need to have basic knowledge of system architecture design and server orientated architecture as well as the ability to automate testing effort from manual test cases and regression test suites. Candidates have to be experienced in working in a team environment with manual and/or automation testing members as well as work independently with minimal supervision. They need to understand, design and implement basic to intermediate automation frameworks, namely Linear, Test Modularity and Data-Driven Frameworks. Intermediate skills and experience level of code design are important as well as basic knowledge of SQL.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop basic to intermediate automation frameworks.
- Design and develop advanced re-usable and maintainable automated scripts for cost-effective script maintainability.
- Monitor and provide test automation effort estimations and implementation.
- Set up test automation environments.
- Test data preparation.
- Conduct automated tests and prepare appropriate reports.
- Maintain test automation scripts.
- Adapt test cases for use in a test automation environment.
- Develop test procedures and test cases based upon system requirements.
- Trouble-shooting and debugging of automation scripts.
