Background

Test and Data Services builds lasting business relationships through the value the company adds to customer systems.  Notably, the company operates with integrity and is well known for providing good business value.

The company has been active since May 1995, and today boasts numerous clients, many of which are listed on the JSE. From its offices in Midrand and Cape Town, Test and Data Services meets customer needs countrywide.

Test and Data Services publishes Test Focus Magazine, South Africa’s only professional publication devoted exclusively to the theory and practice of software quality assurance.

Software Testing Services

Test and Data Services has become a leader in the software testing field, offering three primary software testing services:

• Implementation and staffing services,
• Consulting, and
• Training (Test and Data Services is an accredited SETA training provider).

Implementation and staffing services are offered in three different ways, namely:

• Outsourced software testing (both on site and off site),
• Recruitment of permanent staff, and
• Supply of contracted staff.

Each of these functions can be provided as a general software testing service or as part of a highly specialised discipline such as test automation, security testing, performance testing, usability testing and load/stress testing. The company encourages a practical and methodical approach to software testing and to this end, trains its staff in the processes used by successful testers worldwide.
