The Assessment
Although there is no exam, there is an ongoing assessed practical and the learner is given constant feedback. The candidate will receive a certificate on passing this assessment. The pass mark is 50%.

Course Details

• Prerequisites
  ICDL-level* computer skills in a Windowsä environment, a word processor and a spreadsheet. No qualifications are required.

• Course presentation and duration
  The course is presented by an experienced, qualified software testing practitioner. The course duration is two days. It runs from 8:30 to 16:00. This includes lunch and two tea breaks daily.

• Training style
  The course is conducted in a friendly classroom style. Learners use practical tasks to layer theoretical concepts.

• Training Venues
  Test and Data Services presents courses at several well-established training facilities in Midrand (near Johannesburg and Pretoria), Cape Town and Durban. Training can be arranged at the client’s premises subject to adequate facilities and candidate numbers.  Training courses can also be provided internationally.
